A New Soft-Switched High Step-Up Trans-Inverse DC/DC Converter Based on Built-In Transformer

This article proposes a new Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) high step-up DC/DC converter based on built-in transformer for renewable energy applications. The proposed topology utilizes Three-Winding Built-In Transformer (TWBT) to increase the voltage gain, but unlike most coupled-inductor-based DC-DC converters, output voltages can be obtained under lower magnetic turns ratio. In this circuit, with help of regenerative active clamp leakage inductor from TWBT is absorbed and transferred output, therefore, ZVS conditions at turn-on time are achieved switches. stresses across switches limited, diodes reverse-recovery issue eliminated. Due low input current ripple, suggested used sources. Furthermore, because number components along soft-switching operation, circuit offer enough efficiency. operational principle, steady-state analysis, characteristics provided. Finally, 200 W prototype 25 V 400 built validate analytical results.
